Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. The nurse creates a supportive environment that aligns with the mission to care, heal, and educate. As the primary caregiver, the RN delivers direct patient care and collaborates with the care team, physicians, patients, and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The position requires maintaining confidentiality of patient information and exercising independent clinical judgment while working under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care consistent with hospital policies and procedures.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nursing staff, patients, and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system (EPIC).
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards.
• Participate in floating assignments to similar or lower acuity units, including other locations such as Adena Greenfield, Adena Pike, and Adena Fayette.
• Work every other weekend as scheduled.

Required Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience, preferably in med-surg adult care.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Willingness to float to other similar units and facilities as needed.
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility.

• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
